PAX: I’m going! Are you?

This Labour Day weekend, I will once again be making my annual appearance at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle. I will also once again be speaking on a panel:

Friday, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM, Wolfman Theatre
Making Stories Worth Playing
For years, interactive fiction authors have grappled with the often conflicting demands of story, gameplay, interactivity and immersion. Good stories are not always good games, and while simulation and emergent story can ease pressure on designers, they come with their own problems. Interactive fiction authors and graphical game designers unite to discuss their solutions.

And, as if that isn’t exciting enough, I will be showing off demos of Life Flashes By on my netbook! Come find me roaming around the show floor, or check my Twitter feed for updates on my whereabouts.

Hope to see you there!

I’ll be there! Working the Telltale Booth and reprising the Child’s Play panel on Sunday @ 11am.

I don’t know my booth schedule yet, but if I’ll make it over there if I’m able to!

I’ll be sure to wander by the Telltale booth at some point!

I’ll be at PAX as well. Sadly, I won’t be able to make it ’til Fri evening, so I’ll miss the panel, but we should connect sometime Sat or Sun.

I certainly wish I were going this year. That panel sounds like fun.

I think I’m nearly finished with the script to my cover letter project thing. I’ll email you when I do. I’d certainly expect to have it done by PAX, then it might even be something that awesome people I know could even talk about at PAX…

I’ll definitely miss hanging out with you at PAX this year, Max! Meanwhile, I’ll see if I can show some people your cover letter project, once it’s ready.

I’ll be there, as you know of course, but I sadly won’t have the prototype to the card game I’m working on ready in time for the show.

I’ll mostly be hanging around the Puzzle Bots PAX 10 kiosk/table/whatever, but hopefully I can sneak away to check out your panel.
