As of today, the Pamplemousse campaign stands at $3915 funded, $5585 to go, and 10 days left. That’s 41% of the way there, and while that’s still a bit less than half, there’s still time for the project to hit its funding goal. Here are a few new ways you can help it get to the finish line…
Facebook Event
I’ve created a Facebook event to which you can invite your like-minded friends or share on your wall. It runs right up until the funding deadline at the end of the month, so it makes a good reminder for people who are still waiting on money to be able to contribute. Plus, you never know; you might be able to reach interested people who wouldn’t hear about this neat project otherwise!
Gift Contributions
One feature of Indiegogo campaigns is the ability to make multiple contributions to the same project. This means that if you yourself have already backed Pamplemousse, you can make another contribution in someone else’s name. Looking for a creative gift idea for a friend who you think might enjoy being part of an oddball artistic game’s development? Check off the “I would like to make this contribution for someone else” checkbox when making a pledge!
Contribution Upgrades
Suddenly found yourself with more cash and want to throw a bit more money at Pamplemousse to increase its chances for success? Easy: make a second contribution using your very same account. [1] Want to upgrade to a higher perk tier? Contribute the difference and I’ll confirm with you whether that’s what you want. Or if you want to keep the same perk you selected before, that’s quite all right, too!
Meanwhile, keep on blogging, tweeting, emailing, forum-posting, and otherwise putting the good word out there. Come on, let’s get this game funded!
- If you’re familiar with Kickstarter, you’ll notice Indiegogo works a little differently: since Paypal charges funders right away and refunds them if the goal is not met, altering an existing pledge doesn’t appear to be possible. Instead, you’ll have to make another one. ↩
