A Pi Day Prezzy
March 14th, 2006The Game That Takes Place on a Cruise Ship has literally just been released. Can you believe I actually made it in time for Pi Day? I sure can’t.
I was going to see if I could release the game exactly at 1:59, or perhaps 15:09; however, it would have been much too difficult to pull off. Besides, I’m too preoccupied with hoping I’ve made for an early enough release that it’s not already March 15 on the other side of the world.
Before I shoo you all off to go download your very own copy, I’d just like to take the moment to thank everyone who’s been helpful and supportive of this game’s development, especially all my wonderful beta testers. (Your names are all in the credits, of course.) If it weren’t for all of you, then TGTTPOACS would be much less awesome than it is now.
Oh yeah, expect to see an actual postmortem of sorts on this blog sometime in the near future… when I’m not too swamped with stuff to do.

You’re a pi nut. (Did I mention tat before?)
Congrats with the release, and I wish you a lot of downloads and drooling reviews!

That. Not “tat”.
(In case you were wondering who the hell Tat is. There is no Tat, Neo. Just a typo.)

…I forgot to betatest.
…
I did betatest, but forgot to send in the comments. I didn’t realise it would be released so soon! Also, I didn’t play the game till the end. Oh well, at least you had enough beta testers so me not being actively part of it probably didn’t matter too much, but embarrassing, still.
“What I love about deadlines is the whooshing noises they make as they fly past”, or what was it that Douglas Adams said…

LOL, don’t worry about it, Wormsie. You could always write a witty-yet-critical review or something… as soon as you finish the one for Apprentice II, that is.
(Unfortunately, since I didn’t hear from you, I didn’t put your name in the credits as a beta tester. I hope you’re not offended or anything…)

I’m not at all offended, since I didn’t beta test.

As Gertrude would say: Brilliant!
I must say I really do enjoy the colours this time. Oh, and the music is great. I don’t have anything else to say at this point, because I only strolled around for a little while. I’m going to spend lots of time on it this weekend, though.
