We want you in the navy, too!
February 18th, 2006I’ll bet you thought this day would never come, but it has. The Game That Takes Place on a Cruise Ship is finally ready for beta testing.
This, in turn, means that I need to recruit some beta testers. Therefore, if you’re not too busy, and are willing to take some time to thoroughly go over my game, then send an e-mail to “me at deirdrakiai dot com”[1] containing the following:
- Your name, as you’d like it to appear in the game’s credits.
- General specs of the machine(s) you’ll be using on which to test the game.
- A short paragraph explaining why you’d think you’d make a good beta tester.
- The colour of your toothbrush.
And of course, your responsibilities as a beta tester will include:
- Finding bugs, spelling errors, and all sorts of mistakes I may or may not have made.
- Letting me know if you find any of my puzzles insanely difficult so I can give hints and/or change them if necessary.
- Giving general suggestions for improvement. I’ll probably implement them if doing so doesn’t require too much time and effort. I AM a busy student, after all.
By the way, for those of you who wanted to translate the game, I’ve decided not to have translations at the moment, seeing as I’ve realised that I’d have to change all the interface and save/load graphics and such if I did. Oh well. You could always just be a plain old vanilla beta tester.
- Or alternatively, use the contact form linked to through the sidebar of this page. ↩

Hi there,
Just wanted to say “Thank you” for this cute game.
Just finshed one of the endings and I´m going to try all the others as well!
I really loved the game, just as your former ones as well.
You must be artists:-)))
