Oh goodness gracious me! A couple of days ago, I was browsing around my local EB Games, when I came across Toontown Online. Now, despite the fact that I don’t really buy games these days, much less MMORPGs, I just had to buy this one because it was cheap ($19.99 Canadian is pretty cheap for computer games these days) and its graphics had that certain cartoony charm that reminded me of Stupid Invaders. I played a bit of it today, and my first impression is that it’s a cute timewaster that I’ll probably play a lot when I’m bored and don’t really want to think for a while.

So, what else is new, you’re probably asking. I’m back at school, obviously. I’m learning how to program in OpenGL in one of my classes, which is cool. I’m still progressing on TGTTPOACS, of course, having finished yet another ending, pitting me at about… 75% completion? These days, the fact that I can actually see the end in sight instead of having an “oh no, I have so much more to do” mindset makes me quite optimistic. Then again, it won’t be long till assignments and midterms begin to swallow me whole again…
