Shameless Plug

Well, I just played Nathan’s Second Chance, a nice little adventure game made by fellow SLUDGE developer Tim Knauf. I found it to be a real treat to play. It was funny, original, and not too long, and my name even appeared in the credits. What more could I possibly ask for?

The highlight of the entire game, for me, was being able to walk into the bathroom and hear peeing and flushing noises. Yes, I know I’m weird.

    Yep. Quite good.

    But is it a shameless plug if you recommend someone elses work you like? I thought a shameless plug would be something like you talking about Cubert without a reson for it or me blabbing on about Frasse and the Peas of Kejick at every opportunity.

    Well… it’s a plug, certainly, and assuming you weren’t ashamed of it, technically the title “shameless plug” fits pretty much perfectly. As a side issue, whatever engine the game uses looks simply amazing.

    I’ve downloaded it but I haven’t had a chance to make much progress (hah, had a chance, I said!) See, you can KEEP GOING BACK to the bathroom, like, instant new hobby like.
    Thanks Deirdra, if you hadn’t mentioned the bathroom, I never would have bothered to check it out. Now I’ll probably never be able to resist this temptation and finish NCS. But then, is there really much more story after this?

    Oh no, I’ve created a monster.

    Trust me, there’s quite a bit more story after that. And it’s a well-done story too, at that. And isn’t it NSC?
