It’s been a rather busy couple of weeks, what with midterms and papers and assignments, oh my. However, in honour of Halloween, I have decided to update this blog with pictures of pumpkins that aren’t nearly as cool as Dave Grossman’s, as well as the scariest costume you’ve ever seen…

Bloodshot eyes and crooked teeth… honestly, what’s NOT to love?

I rather like the way the teeth turned out on this one. I’m not too happy with the eyes, though. [1]
And now, for the SCARIEST COSTUME YOU’VE EVER SEEN…

AAAAIIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!! SCARY SCARY SCARY!

Yes, those are indeed aquarium shoes. With real water and fish [2] and everything.
Footnotes:
- If I only had more time, I would’ve put more detail into those eyes, but alas, I could not. Oh well. The bad picture quality makes it not matter as much. Hey, you who complained about there not being footnotes in my recent entries! Here’s your footnote! Happy? ↩
- Well, not REAL fish. That would be cruel. Or amusing. Whichever you prefer. ↩
It is a strange tradition you people in the west have. (Merchants are trying to import it here, too, even though we have other quite different traditions for this holiday.) Some of those Grossman pumpkins were pretty cool, but yours aren’t that bad either (better than the worst of his, to be sure). I agree with what you said about the eyes.
Scary costume… ? Well, since some people get scared of the dancing elephant, I suppose it could be. The fish shoe thing is funny.
Speaking of Halloween, I hope you’ve seen The Nightmare Before Christmas? A great movie. (I heard someone made a really bad game based on it recently.)
Thanks! I have indeed seen Nightmare Before Christmas, but that was years ago. I loved it, though.
Me and Sandy Claws hereby giev you many thanks for a double treat of footnotes. You rock!
The russian accent in certain verbs was entirely unintended. I promise.
awsome pics!!
